Julien Grégoire
Percussion
Julien Grégoire, a renowned percussionist, he has become a reference in the field of contemporary percussion. Julien has recorded around 30 albums, either in chamber ensembles or as a soloist, and has been on as many tours with various ensembles. Julien is a founding member of the Nouvel Ensemble Moderne and a member of the SMCQ. He performs and records regularly with flutist Guy Pelletier, under the name Traces. Julien has worked with several orchestras and performed with several ensembles, including I Musici and Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, and concert organizations such as ACREQ, Codes d’accès and Chants Libres. He currently teaches percussion at the Cégep Marie-Victorin and Lionel-Groulx as well as at the Université de Montréal.
