Ensemble Transmission is a motley crew of 6 virtuous monsters who play quite standard and then not-so-standard-at-all music composed for 2 blowers (flute/clarinet), 2 bowers (violin/cello), and 2 bangers (percussion/piano).

The ensemble concocts “menus” of unusual and uncanny combination of courses, looking always for a balance of colour, texture and stylistically complimentary flavours.
In addition to rivetting concert presentations at home in Montreal and abroad on tour this band also offers workshops, masterclasses and individual lessons to various targetted communities. They are currently preparing recordings for two separate CD launches in the 2013/2014 season.
